TypePad help: Connecting your TypePad Blog to Twitter

If you have a Twitter account you can have your blog automatically tweet about your blog posts each time you publish them. Here's how to set it up.

Click on Account near the upper right corner of the screen.

Locate Other Accounts in the left sidebar and click on it. The Other Accounts page will appear. Locate Add an account and select Twitter from the drop-down.

The Twitter Authorization form will appear in a pop-up window.  Enter your Twitter username and password and click the Allow button. After a moment the Your Other Accounts page will refresh and you will see Twitter in the list.

Now it's time to set the default. Click on Blogs in the green bar at the top of the page and select your blog from the list.  Click the Settings tab.  Click on Sharing in the left sidebar. Turn on Twitter under Publicize Defaults:

When you create a new blog post, notice the Share This Post section.  Twitter will be checked by default:
