I was meeting with a new client yesterday and suddenly realized that everyone around the table had an iPad except me. While my client is an industry leader, they are not a high-tech company by any means. The message to me is that it is becoming imperative to test the websites and blogs we build not only for compatibility with the popular browsers, we need to be testing for iPad compatibility as well.
iPad has no serious issues with compatibility. The only serious problem is its limited Adobe Flash support

I recently encountered a problem with a site were all of the items on the menubar EXCEPT ONE worked on the iPad. It wasn't my site so I couldn't investigate.
And while it's true that the primary issue is Flash support, Flash is used for so many things that it's easy to overlook something. I recently worked on a site in which the entire header and menu was not displayed on the iPad, even though neither the header nor the menu used flash.
So our policy here is to personally check every site on the iPad (and iPhone) for compatibility.
