Wordpress Security Tip

Here is a security tip that is often overlooked: Change your Display Name so it is different from your Username.

By default, Wordpress sets your Display Name to be the same as your Username.  Your Display Name is displayed with every post as the author name.

If you leave your Display Name the same as your Username then you've cut the effort in half for anyone trying to guess your login credentials.

For people like me, the opposite advice is more practical.
To date, everybody who has so far broken into my blog, have written better aticles than me, and I get the credit.
