Dear Delta Airlines: You Disgust Me

I rarely go off topic here, but with a son in the US Army I cannot let this go without comment:

Dear Delta Airlines:

This causes the memories of every wretched experience I've ever had with Delta to come flooding back.

These men are Warriors - men who have dedicated their life's purpose to protecting the way of life that allows you to go home at the end of the day to your airconditioned house and lean back in your easy chair while eating a fine meal from the supermarket.

This incident is not just a reflection of your policies.  It is a reflection of the the mindset of your people. If your front-line people think nothing of treating returning servicemen this way then as he father of a Warrior you disgust me. Every Delta employee should be hanging his/her head in shame. The fact that you are not tells me everything I need to know about you.

I need to make another business trip soon.  If Delta is the only airline flying there then I will drive instead.
